Luddites Open Mic Returns for a Second Edition in Antwerp

A stage, four minutes, and all the space to showcase something about yourself. On Saturday, October 10th, the Luddites Open Mic returns for a second edition. Musicians, writers, poets, comedians, and other performers will once again have the chance to stand on stage in front of a live audience.

Prefer to watch? You can do that too. As a visitor, you can simply walk in and be surprised by the talent of the evening.

From Music and Poetry to Stand-Up Comedy

The Open Mic is intentionally open to various forms of performance. Play a song, read your own text or poem, try out new comedy material, or surprise the audience with something completely different.

Each participant gets a maximum of four minutes on stage. Short enough to keep the pace up and long enough to seize your moment.

Maximum of 15 Performers

Anyone who wants to perform must register in advance via the registration form from Luddites. There is room for a maximum of 15 performers, so early registration is recommended.

For spectators, prior registration is not necessary. Bring your friends, find a spot, and enjoy an evening full of unexpected performances.

A 15-minute break will be provided halfway through to grab a drink and catch up.

Open Mic Among the Books

With the bookshelves of Luddites as a backdrop, the evening takes on an intimate and quirky setting. It makes the Open Mic a low-threshold place to discover new talent, try something out yourself, or simply experience an original Saturday night in Antwerp.
