What happens when you trust a stranger with a memory? Everything By My Side by Argentine theater maker Fernando Rubio is not a classic performance, but an intimate encounter that will stay with you for a long time.

In a square in Antwerp, seven white beds are set up. In each bed lies an actress inviting visitors to sit beside her for a moment. What follows is a personal story, a childhood memory that feels like a dream. For ten minutes, you share a moment of silence, tenderness, and human connection.

An international success

Fernando Rubio has traveled the world with Everything By My Side. From New York to Buenos Aires and from London to Antwerp, this unique performance has touched thousands of visitors.

For this Antwerp edition, Rubio collaborates with seven local actresses, each giving their own interpretation of the story. This makes each encounter unique and personal.

As The New York Times described it:

An experience that lingers

Although the performance lasts only ten minutes, the experience often lingers long after. The combination of gentle words, silence, and closeness creates a special form of theater that is at once moving, calming, and surprisingly powerful.
