Gabian

Gabian, named after the Provençal word for seagull, is an inspiring shop and studio located on Kloosterstraat, founded by sisters Inneke and Véronique Meeusen. What began as a shared passion for craftsmanship and creativity has evolved into a dynamic concept where ceramics, scented candles, and local collaborations come together. Inneke designs unique ceramic pieces, while Véronique develops handmade candles in natural wax and special shapes.

The shop revolves around collaborations with Belgian makers, designers, and artists who can showcase and sell their work through Gabian on a consignment basis. The offerings are constantly changing and consist of original, high-quality, and locally produced objects. Gabian consciously chooses sustainability, small-scale production, and a personal approach – each creation tells a story, and every collaboration is carefully selected.
