At the beginning of September, Antwerp will once again be the backdrop for playful wonder. After the success of the first edition, Antwerp On Air is back – bigger, more colorful, and with even more airy art!

Creative mind Phil Blondé, the man behind the concept, is once again teaming up with Beleef Antwerpen. Together, they are breathing new life into the Antwerp city center, both literally and figuratively. Where visitors were already amazed last year by gigantic inflatable artworks, this edition promises to be downright spectacular: the number of installations is doubling, and even more shopping districts are participating.

From de Meir to the Wilde Zee, and from het Eilandje to Kloosterstraat – imaginative air sculptures will pop up everywhere. Think of gigantic octopuses, colorful monsters, and impressive air structures that will transport you to another world. International artists FilthyLuker (UK) and Cyril Lancelin (FR) are creating spectacular pieces, specially made for the streets of Antwerp.

And yes, the crowd favorite Kong is back as well. The ascent of this airy hero on the iconic Boerentoren promises to be a real eye-catcher once again.
